Prize Draw Terms & Conditions for the Prize Draw Saver Account
1. Prize draws will occur monthly (each, a Prize Draw). The competition period for each Prize Draw (each, a Competition Period) begins on the first business day of a month and ends on the last business day of that month.
2. Each Prize Draw will take place on the second business day of the month following the Competition Period for that Prize Draw. Prize Draws will take place until further notice.
3. Additional special Prize Draws may also occur from time to time as notified to customers by The Co‑operative Bank. Eligibility criteria for these special Prize Draws will be determined and advised by The Co‑operative Bank. Customers of The Co‑operative Bank that do not hold a Prize Draw Saver account may also be eligible for these special Prize Draws.
4. The Co‑operative Bank will calculate the number of entries you will receive in a Prize Draw by:
a. determining the daily balance of your Prize Draw Saver account at approximately 7:00pm on each business day during the Competition Period for that Prize Draw;
b. adding each daily account balance during that Competition Period; and
c. dividing this total daily account balance by the number of business days in that Competition Period to determine your average daily account balance during the month (the Average Daily Account Balance).
5. You will receive one Prize Draw entry for every $100 of your Average Daily Account Balance (e.g. if your Average Daily Account Balance was $500, you will receive five entries in that Prize Draw, if your Average Daily Account Balance was $499, you will receive four entries in that Prize Draw).
6. If a customer has more than one Prize Draw Saver account, a separate Average Daily Account Balance will be calculated in respect of each of these accounts. The total number of entries that customer will receive in a Prize Draw will be the total number of entries each Prize Draw Saver account entitles them to.
7. When a Prize Draw Saver account is closed, the account will no longer be eligible for Prize Draws. If a Prize Draw Saver account is closed, the account will not receive any entries in the Prize Draw for the Competition Period during which the account is closed (e.g. if an account holder closes a Prize Draw Saver account during February, that account will not entitle them to any entries in the Prize Draw that will take place on the second business day in March).
8. Prize Draws are open to Prize Draw Saver account holders who are at least 16 years of age.
9.The following persons are ineligible for entry into a Prize Draw:
a. all Co‑operative Bank directors, employees, contractors, and agents;
b. auditors who are appointed to oversee the prize draw saver account Prize Draws;
c. employees of any company providing Prize Draw prizes; and
d. the spouses, partners and dependents of the any of the above.
10. The Co‑operative Bank will make all reasonable endeavours to contact the winner(s) of each Prize Draw. If the winning account holder(s) cannot be contacted by The Co‑operative Bank within 30 days of the relevant Prize Draw, their prize will be forfeited. The Prize Draw will not be re-drawn in these circumstances.
11. Prize Draw winners must agree to feature in publicity in a manner reasonably determined by The Co‑operative Bank and advised to the relevant Prize Draw winner when they are informed of their prize. Should a Prize Draw winner not agree to feature in any such publicity, their prize will be forfeited. The Prize Draw will not be re-drawn in these circumstances.
12. The prize for each Prize Draw will be advertised by The Co‑operative Bank. The prize, and the value of a prize, may vary between Prize Draws. The prize for a Prize Draw may be varied without notice at any time by The Co‑operative Bank.
13. A decision by The Co‑operative Bank on all matters relating to a Prize Draw will be final and binding.
14. The Co‑operative Bank reserves the right to amend the Prize Draw Eligibility and Terms & Conditions, suspend a Prize Draw, or withdraw the Prize Draws completely at any time.
15. The Co‑operative Bank accepts no responsibility for any tax liability incurred as a result of any person participating in a Prize Draw.
